Everyone is a fan of a good dupe right? Especially if that dupe is less than 6% of the cost of the original. It may seem too good to be true but the Lidl Suddenly Madame Glamour retails for €5 and smells almost identical to a bottle of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

Tips For Dying Hair Fantasy Colours At Home
As you may or may not have guessed I'm a big fan of dying my hair.
I regularly dye it every fortnight or so because I'm fickle and I like to
change it up. Plus it's only hair. Dying your hair an unnatural colour is a big
decision, be prepared for lots of stares as you walk down the street and for
strangers to give their opinions on your hair, whether you asked for their
opinion or not.

Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm Review
Hi you guys!
I've recently gone through a bit of a skincare infatuation. For my makeup to look great, my face has to be in good shape also! So I've been on the hunt for the perfect skincare routine to give me flawless, glowing skin so I don't feel the need to wear makeup (pffft as if that will ever happen). I came across the Boots Botanics range a little while ago and since it was on special offer, decided to give the hot cloth cleansing balm a go.Thursday, 8 May 2014
100 Follower Giveaway: $30 Firmoo Voucher
A week ago I surpassed 100 followers on both GFC and Bloglovin. I know that's not a huge number but it means the world to me, so when I was contacted by Firmoo, an online fashion glasses store, about receiving some vouchers for Vintage Cat Eye glasses I decided to resist the urge to be greedy and keep them for myself. Instead I thought "D'you what? I'll host a giveaway for them as a big thank you!" and that's what I'm doing.
Firmoo specialize in high-quality affordable eye-wear for every-use glasses as well as sunglasses. As one of the worlds most popular global eye-store (they have over 600k likes on facebook) they ship almost everywhere worldwide.
This week I'm hosting a giveaway with FIVE winners. Each of you lovely winners will receive a $30 e-voucher to use at Firmoo.com on a pair from their Vintage Cat Eye range. Click here to see the range. Oh and just so you know most of the styles are only $39 with some of the styles less than $20!! Please note: to apply for the giveaway you must be in the range of delivery. Check the countries they deliver to here.
Unless you've been living under a rock you'll know that the cat eye trend has been on the rise over the last year and is slowly taking over! The reason it's so popular I believe is due to its retro vintage feel. The great thing about these glasses is that you can choose a tinted lens so all you ladies with good eye sight can use the voucher for these frames to be used as sunglasses!
Some of my personal favourites from the range include:
All you have to do to enter is fill out the Rafflecopter form below to be with a chance. So what are you waiting for??? Hurry because the competition ends the 28th of May at 12:15pm.
Best of luck!!!

Ebay Summer Fashion Wishlist
As summer is within touching distance, I've been scouring the internet for any excuse to buy new pretty things. Ebay has been my go to recently and I've complied this list of some of the items I'm currently counting my pennies for.

Week in Instagram
My finals start tomorrow, so what have I been doing? Procrastinating like crazy and instagramming like mad.....obviously!
So to avoid study I've been procrastinating like there's no tomorrow. Instead of study I've been doing my eyemakeup and taking lots of pictures of myself "studying". I also spent a night out with my best friends to "relieve"ourselves from the stress. I've come to the realisation I need to get to a hairdresser STAT! My roots have gone beyond a joke now.

Updated twitter account
Hi guys!
So I've recently decided to change my twitter account. I'll still be keeping my personal account that I'm using now but I'm going to keep it purely for non makeup topics (e.g cats pics!!!) and my new twitter page will be purely makeup and blogging related. This is so that those that follow me on my personal twitter won't have to be bombarded with makeup tweets and those following my blogging twiter account won't have to be updated with maths related tweets and rants!
So here's a link to my twitter account purely related to all things TooManyFreckles.
Please feel free to follow me!

Dealing with Eczema: L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Anti-Redness CC Cream
I've mentioned before that I've been suffering with eczema resulting in the skin around my right eye being very red......not an attractive look. While I was waiting for this redness to tone down I decided to buy the L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique CC Cream that targets the redness in the skin and calms it down. It was €15.39 for 50ml in Boots.

Dealing with Eczema: Evening Skincare Routine
Back in November I started to suffer from eczema on my right eye and all over my mouth. It was quite a shock when it happened as I have always suffered from oily skin (never having a dry patch in sight) and I was totally unprepared for it. I had to go out and switch up my skincare routine pronto. Gone were all my mattifying and oil control products. I stopped caring about my oily patches and focused on taking care of the dry, flaky, red, swollen and sore patches of dry skin on my face.

Lidl Argan Oil Hair Treatment
A while back my bottle of L'oreal Extraordinary oil (which i adored) ran out, so while i was in Lidl I couldn't resist purchasing this Argan Oil Hair Treatment at the amazing price of €2.99 for a 100ml bottle. An absolute steal considering it is only a fraction of the price of many argan oil based products currently available.

Get Ready With Me: Going Out Hair
When I go out I like my hair BIG and I mean real big! I'm all about the volume. Recently instead of just straightening my hair and then backcombing it to within an inch of it's life I've started using my Babyliss heated rollers. These add volume and a nice curl and definition to my hair. So here is just my step by step way of how I style my hair when I'm going out.
Step 1:
I start with unstraightened dry hair (preferably washed the day before). I prep my hair either by spraying all over with hairspray or mousse and I then divide my hair into three sections. I have a fringe so I just clip that in so that I don't accidentally roll it.

Summertime Foundation: Garnier B.B Cream Miracle Skin Perfector
So now that
the sunny weather is here it’s time for a more fresh approach to makeup. No one wants a full face of makeup while out
in the sun, you want to look fresh and natural.
That’s why when the sun comes out I switch from my normal medium to full
coverage foundations to light coverage foundations or bb creams.
My current
go to product during our lovely heat wave is the Garnier B.B Cream Miracle Skin
Perfector for combination to oily skin.
When Garnier launched the original a few years back I bought it and
LOATHED it. It just didn’t suit me at all. The colour was too dark, the consistency too
thick and the cream was so oily on my skin! I tried it once or twice and then
gave it away. But this BB cream works so
much better for me.

So why do you wear makeup?
Why do you wear makeup?
It's a question I think a lot of girls are asked from time to time. Some wear it daily, some wear it now and again and many only wear it for special occasions and now and again you find people who never wear it EVER! I myself would wear it everyday if i could, but I'm lazy with a capitol L and because I have to get up at an ungodly hour every morning I actually don't bother with it. I could go for a week or so without it. You see makeup isn't something I need to wear.....it's something i want to wear.
Now I've heard it over and over again "why are you bothering wearing makeup, we aren't going anywhere", "it's bad for your skin", " girls wear makeup to impress boys", "girls wear makeup to impress other girls" "people only wear makeup because to give themselves more confidence" etc etc the list goes on. I've read many articles asking why people bother with makeup and others from people saying they just don't feel like themselves without their makeup. Everyone has their own opinions to makeup and reasons for wearing it or not wearing it.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
"Makeup so refreshingly light, it melts right in, creating a fresh even look. So the only one that knows
you are wearing makeup is you"
So as many of you may know I'm trying to take a more natural approach to my daytime makeup, so in this quest for 'no makeup' makeup I've turned to my trusted friends Revlon. A few weeks ago I decided to try out the (relatively) new Revlon Nearly Naked foundation. I took a while choosing my shade and decided to go for 130 Shell, it was a little too yellow and pale for me but the shade higher was too warm for my skin tone.

My first FOTD
Today I've decided to write a little face of the day (fotd) post. It's only going to be about my makeup becuase I'm afraid I'm not fashionable enough to do an outfit of the day.
So today I had time to actually do my makeup before I headed off to college (yipee). So I took a few snaps of my makeup. I was going for a natural, not wearing much makeup look, not too sure if I nailed it though!
