My little makeup haul

So yesterday I had to go into town to get some thank you cards and of course I got distracted and bought lots of new things (as you do). Someday I'll manage to go into town and not spend all my money but until that day comes I'll just keep updating you on all my new pretty things!

Pennys

I've been needing a new handbag for ages and I got this lovely little thing for €11.00. I love the color of it. I just hope I can keep it clean. 

Anyone who knows me will tell you I adore backcombing my hair. I know, I know. It's so bad for my hair, but I just can't help it. I bought this little backcombing brush for just €1.50. I tested it out a little this evening and it seemed nice. Didn't notice a big difference between backcombing with it and my normal hairbrush but I'll use it properly next time I'm going out and let you know how it goes

Superdrug

Superdrug was having a sale so I just had to buy everything I laid my hands on

This lipstick is from the Kate Moss lasting finish collection by Rimmel. It's a bright fuchsia colour (kind of reminds me of something barbie would wear) and it cost me €6.85. I'm so excited to wear this lipstick next time I go out. It seems to have a good enough staying power so I won't have to be worrying about reapplying it every 20 minutes.

I've been reading great reviews about Collection 2000's lasting perfection concealer and for only €5.15 I thought I might as well give it a go. I bought shade 1 fair, which I feel might be just a little too pale for my skin but I'll have to test it out more.

I bought these two NYC  In A New York Minutes nail varnishes for €2.15 each. I love the nail varnishes in this range, they are just so bright and colourful! They also don't chip too much and I feel have much better than other cheap nail polish brands.

I needed a new face wash and moisturiser so I decided to try out the Garnier Pure range. I bought this deep clean foam wash for €3.45.  It has a bit of a chemical smell to it but that really doesn't bother me and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. The moisturiser cost €5.05. It is meant to control shine and regulate sebum. I put it on in the morning but by the time i got home my face was a little shiny. It wasn't too bad (it didn't look like I'd been rubbing olive oil into my face or anything) but I prefer my face to be quite matte. But I'll keep trying it out for a while and see how it goes.

Boots

If you look at any of the photos of me without much makeup on you'll notice I have tiny eyes! I hate it and i often wear fake eyelashes on nights out to give the illusion I've big eyes (I LOVE big eyes). One trick I've read about is using white eyeliner to make your eyes appear bigger and for only €3.09 from natural collection in Boots I had to give this a go.

New Look

And finally my last stop was to New Look to get myself a new hat and gloves for €4 each because it was FREEEEEZING! They are so soft and fluffy!

And to top it all off after I'd bought all my lovely new things I forgot to buy the thank you cards....
